Broadcast: Simplify Control

Post production environments and broadcast machine rooms have become increasingly dependent on computers to generate and manipulate video and audio content. Broadcasters are seeking solutions that enable them to back rack their critical computing resources and allocate them as needed.
Operators access the computers anywhere they need to away from the machine room, technical gear room, or whatever they are calling the area where the systems are back racked. The user can be at a user station in the broadcast studio, master control room, weather center, traffic center, or a number of other places. Avocent Broadcast KVM switches help meet this need.
From the point of view of the Chief Engineer, centralizing computer resources also simplifies reconfigurations and eases administration as the broadcast environment changes.

Award-Winning Solution
